New ferry service on the Baltic Sea: POLSCA S.A. launches its operations.
POL-AGENT is ready for change
Fundamental changes are on the horizon for the Polish ferry industry, which will redefine transport between Poland and Scandinavia. On 30 March 2026, a new operator – POLSCA S.A. – will make its debut on the market.
The new entity will take over the operations of the current market leaders, combining the capabilities of Unity Line and Polferries. This decision marks a new era in freight and passenger transport, with POLSCA S.A. replacing companies such as Unity Line Limited, Euroafrica Shipping Lines Cyprus Limited and Polska Żegluga Bałtycka S.A. as the carrier.
Key routes and a modern fleet.
The new carrier will operate on the main transport routes linking Świnoujście and Gdańsk with Sweden. The timetable includes regular sailings on established routes:
- Świnoujście – Ystad – Świnoujście
- Świnoujście – Trelleborg – Świnoujście
- Gdańsk – Nynäshamn – Gdańsk
- Gdańsk – Karlshamn – Gdańsk (scheduled to open by mid-2026)
A fleet of no fewer than 10 vessels will be made available to shippers and passengers, including such well-known ferries as the M/F Polonia, the M/F Skania and the newest addition, the M/F Jantar Unity
