Since Wednesday, 25 March 2026, the route operated by Stena Line has been at a standstill due to a breakdown of the <b data-path-to-node=\"7\" data-index-in-node=\"198\">Stena Spirit<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"8\"><b data-path-to-node=\"8\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">What happened?<\/b> While moored in the port of Karlskrona on Wednesday evening, the vessel\u2019s stern mooring line snapped. Strong winds caused the vessel to shift uncontrollably, requiring the intervention of tugs. Although the vessel came to rest safely at the quay, technical damage occurred (including to the stern mooring line), and the ferry blocked a key berth in the port.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"9\"><b data-path-to-node=\"9\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Operational impacts and changes to the timetable:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul data-path-to-node=\"10\">\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"10,0,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"10,0,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Port blockage<\/b>: A damaged ferry prevented the other vessels on this route (Stena Estelle and Stena Ebba) from docking on time.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"10,1,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"10,1,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Suspension of service<\/b>: The operator has decided t<b data-path-to-node=\"10,1,0\" data-index-in-node=\"43\">o cancel all sailings on the Gdynia\u2013Karlskrona route until the morning of Monday 30 March<\/b> in order to stabilise the operational situation.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"10,2,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"10,2,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Alternative transport<\/b>: Alternative transport has been arranged via the port of Trelleborg to \u015awinouj\u015bcie for passengers and some cargo.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=&#8221;5190&#8243; add_caption=&#8221;yes&#8221; css=&#8221;&#8221; img_size=&#8221;large&#8221;][vc_column_text css=&#8221;.vc_custom_1774651467885{margin-bottom: 60px !important;}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"11\"><b data-path-to-node=\"11\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Notice to our customers<\/b>: The <b data-path-to-node=\"11\" data-index-in-node=\"40\">Pol-Agent<\/b> team is monitoring the situation closely. All its sailings until 11 April have been cancelled.<\/p>\n<p>In the meantime, the Stena Ebba and Stena Estelle ferries will operate the route at maximum frequency.<\/p>\n<p>The timetable has been updated as of Monday morning.
