The company was founded on <strong>July 17, 1990<\/strong>, and commenced its operational activities on <strong>September 1, 1990<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The company was established on the initiative of the Szczecin branch of <strong>Polish Ocean Lines<\/strong>. The first owners were Polish Ocean Lines and <strong>eight PLO employees<\/strong>. One of the key figures in the company&#8217;s establishment was <strong>W\u0142odzimierz Matuszewski<\/strong>, the originator of the company&#8217;s name.<\/p>\n<p>The original company name was:<br \/>\n<strong>POL-AGENT MARITIME BROKERS AGENTS FORWARDERS Sp. z o.o. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Janusz Kwiatkowski<\/strong> became the first Chairman of the Board.<\/p>\n<p>From the outset, the company was intended to serve not only as a classic maritime agency. Steinweg Group Rotterdam<\/strong>. Discussions concluded with the acquisition of the company by the Dutch logistics group. The owners of POL-AGENT became <a href=\"https:\/\/www.steinweg.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>C.
